Zap Map publishes UK EV charging network customer satisfaction results

A survey by Zap Map of more than 4,300 EV drivers has seen two ultra-rapid charging networks tie for first place in the customer satisfaction stakes.

The Fastned and MFG EV Power charging networks – which both provide hubs with multiple chargers each location – scored highly for reliability and ease of use, and both secured the ‘Best EV Charging Network’ badge.

InstaVolt was placed in third, while Connected Kerb and Osprey come in joint fourth.

ChargePlace Scotland – which holds joint-12th place overall – took first place for cost, thanks to many of its charge points being free to use.

Zap Map also identified that there had been a 76% increase in the number of ultra-rapid chargers in operation since they published their last survey in 2021, with 36,000 charging devices available to now use in total across the UK.
