Clever technology that works around you

The EX60 features Volvo’s Central Hugin Core console system, complete with over-the-air software updates and a built-in AI assistant powered by Google Gemini.

Google Gemini is trained to understand everyday speech and continues to learn and evolve over time. You can use it to ask almost anything, find your nearest favourite restaurant, translate a phrase while you’re on the move and much more. Simply say “Hey Gemini” and ask away, without taking your hands off the wheel.

A smart bonus is that Google connects across your devices and your car, so everything picks up exactly where you left off. Whether that’s a podcast, your favourite playlist or even catching up on a TV series while you’re parked, it’s designed to make life that little bit easier.

The central console also features intelligent shortcut controls that automatically place the functions you need most right at your fingertips.

  • On a frosty morning? The defrost button appears.
  • Set off? You’ll see the one-pedal drive shortcut.
  • Ready to reverse into a parking space? The tilted mirror function pops up.

It’s so natural, it’s almost as though the car knows your next move.

Designed around the driver

The interior design on this car is just immaculate – clean, fresh and effortlessly luxurious.

(We’ll put a picture here so you can see just how effortless the dashboard alone is, designed to keep the driver as the focus while removing clutter and any overwhelming feeling when you get in.)

The ergonomic front seats are shaped around your natural seating position. Using the power controls, you can adjust the height, tilt and recline, or extend the cushion for extra thigh support.

To make every journey more comfortable, you can choose from three heated seat settings or ventilation to keep cool in warmer weather.

Once you’ve found your perfect driving position, simply save it to your personal profile. The seat, steering wheel and mirrors will automatically adjust when you unlock your EV.

Premium comfort throughout

If you love your music, this may be your favourite feature.

The EX60 offers either 28 or 21 speakers, depending on the sound system you choose, creating an immersive listening experience with different room modes, immersive audio and even speakers built into the headrests.

The electrochromic panoramic roof helps create a bright, open cabin while keeping everyone comfortable.

Its dark-tinted laminated glass blocks 80% of the sun’s heat and 99.9% of UV rays, while an infrared layer helps reduce glare. With the heatwaves we’ve been seeing in the UK recently, this feature is likely to come in very handy.

Using the central display, you can adjust the roof’s transparency whenever you like – dim the glass for extra shade and privacy or make it crystal clear so everyone can enjoy the sunshine.

Space for everyday life

The EX60 offers 1,647 litres of cargo space, plus an additional 58-litre front trunk (frunk).

Storage throughout the cabin has been thoughtfully designed.

At the front you’ll find:

  • Clever storage spaces for handbags and everyday essentials.
  • Drinks storage.
  • A removable insert to keep keys and cards organised.
  • Hidden storage compartments.
  • A phone shelf with two USB-C ports underneath.

Passengers in the rear are equally well catered for, with:

  • A discreet hook beside the armrest for hanging a small bag.
  • Seat-back pockets for tablets or magazines.
  • A mesh slip that keeps a phone secure while still allowing the screen to be seen.
  • Cupholders for three drinks.
  • A removable storage box that can also be used as a bin.

It’s packed with practical touches that make family road trips that little bit easier, whether that’s keeping the cabin tidy or entertaining little ones in the back.

Next-generation safety

As you’d expect from Volvo, safety remains at the heart of the EX60.

Features include:

  • World-first multi-adaptive safety belt.
  • Pilot Assist with lane change assist.
