Changan Deepal S07 – Overview

In a nutshell, the Deepal S07 is a mid-size electric SUV. Who is Changan?

Place yourself in one of the high-comfort front seats, and you’ll notice that there’s no dashboard. Instead, the S07 features an Augmented Reality Heads-Up display that projects your speed, range, directions, and other key information right onto your windscreen; so you’ll never have to look away from the road to get any information you’ll need.

There’s also a 15.6” touchscreen infotainment system that can rotate to face the driver or passenger – and it’s customisable to your preferences, ensuring easy access to entertainment, navigation, or car settings.

Performance, Power, Battery, and Range

The Changan Deepal S07 has an 80kWh battery, which delivers up to 295 miles of range. It’s powered by a 160kW motor that gives you 218hp and can get from 0-60mph in 7.9 seconds – charging into the EV market with competitive features for a budget-friendly electric car.

With rapid charging of up to 93kW, you can top up from 30% to 80% in around 35 minutes — that’s nearly 150 miles added while you grab a coffee.

Safety & Driver Assistance

The Changan Deepal S07 is as rich with hidden safety equipment as it’s visible technology. The S07 is integrated with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including having front, side, and curtain airbags, child presence detection, tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), Adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping, and blind spot detection. As well as Anti-lock braking systems, emergency braking systems, traction controls, and full 360-degree cameras.
