“I love it. Absolutely love it. Sometimes I just go for a drive because it brings me joy. It’s so smooth and quiet – you forget you’re even driving.”
One of her favourite surprises? Driving at night. “The lights inside come on – this soft purple glow – and I remember thinking, wow. It just feels special. It’s those little things that bring you joy.”
She laughs that her neighbours definitely notice too. “I can feel them looking at me thinking, ‘What does she do to drive a car like that?’ I just smile.”
Switching to electric felt like a big step at first, but it quickly became second nature.
Lynette charges mostly at home and loves how it slots easily into her routine. With smart scheduling, she sets her charger to run overnight on a lower EV tariff – no need to step out late at night.

Her car was expected for delivery in December 2025, but she received a brilliant surprise when Tusker let her know it was ready earlier; “When I got an email to say my car would be ready in October, I was like what!? And I still got the 75 plate, which was lovely!”
The home charger installation was just as smooth. “The installer was friendly, explained everything and showed me how the app works. I couldn’t fault it.”
