Tusker Accessibility Statement

Tusker is committed to providing accessibility for all individuals, including those with disabilities. We strive to have an inclusive and accessible environment in which everyone can fully participate, engage, and interact with our services, programmes, and facilities.

Key Principles

  • Continuous Improvement: We review our accessibility practices to identify barriers to accessibility.
  • Accessibility Feedback: We welcome feedback from individuals with disabilities regarding accessibility concerns. We are committed to addressing issues raised.

Digital Platforms

  • We use the W3C standards for HTML and CSS.
  • We are working towards AA level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2.
  • We are committed to introducing Recite Me accessibility software in Q3 2025 to further assist those with accessibility needs.
  • All our images have alternative text to describe them to you. This means that even if you can’t see the image, you can still understand what it means.
  • We use strong colour contrasts to make sure that text is clear to read.
  • We use plain English which is easy to understand. We avoid using jargon where we can and explain it when we can’t.
  • While we do our best to make sure you don’t have any problems using the website, we know that sometimes you might find things that cause you a problem. We are always working to make sure our site meets accessibility requirements for all of our users.

Communication

  • We provide accessibility formats of communication materials upon request, including large print, and accessible electronic formats.
  • Any video material we produce will have captions included within the video and any PDF literature will meet accessibility requirements.
