FAQs

What is an EV grant? The UK’s Government brought in a new £650million Electric Car Grant from July 2025 and running until 2029, offering up to £3,750 off new electric cars costing £37k or less. With Tusker, you’re already winning on savings, but with this EV grant now implemented into the scheme, you’re going to be even more impressed by the monthly amount of these cars.

What is WLTP? It stands for Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure. In other words, it’s a 30-minute lab, “rolling road” test with four speed phases (low, medium, high and extra-high) to simulate more realistic driving conditions and provide more accurate range data to drivers.

Electric Vehicle Grant eligibility is determined by the Government and is specific to individual vehicle models and specifications. Grant availability and values are subject to change, and some vehicles may become eligible or ineligible during the order process.
