Leona Baker – Falling in Love with Electric Through Tusker

When Leona Baker at Harrow Council spotted the Tusker salary sacrifice scheme on her company intranet, she almost applied on a complete whim. She wasn’t actively looking for a new car and knew very little about electric cars — in fact, she even considered cancelling her application. But after a reassuring conversation with our team, she decided to keep an open mind. Today, she’s incredibly glad she did!

We fulfil electric dreams

Browsing the Tusker website, Leona found her dream car, a Fiat 500… but this one was a fully electric version. The Fiat 500e is a “funky little car” that Leona loves having just for her. Her journeys to University each week have been transformed with the speed feature to set her limit to 20mph making it a “real pleasure to drive there”.

Throughout her experience with Tusker, Leona has praised the support she’s received over the phone and email, highlighting the kindness of customer service teams. The Fiat 500e was delivered in June this year and Leona shares that the agent who delivered her car was extremely helpful.

“I was shown around the car, they demonstrated what to use and how to use everything, as there are a lot of different features in the Fiat 500. I took my neighbour for a drive straight away; I was so excited and happy with my car that I sang the whole way back.”
